Petronas Twin Towers

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Standing tall and proud over the exciting city of Kuala Lumpar, the Petronas Twin towers are home to businesses, agencies, and a world of leisure. Since the turn of the millennium, the towers have inspired architecture across Asia and the rest of the globe, providing a beacon for Islamic culture. Once listed as the tallest structure ever built, the Petronas Twin Towers stand at a record-breaking height, and remain the tallest twin towers in the world.

Made from shimmering steel and glass components, the Petronas Twin Towers were designed by renowned architect Cesar Pelli and involved a range of established engineers and contractors to achieve Pelli’s vision. Initial location plans were changed when the building had to be moved 61 meters so that it could be built away from decaying limestone near the cliff edge. The Petronas Twin Towers now have some of the deepest foundations in architectural history. It took just six years to build, which is an astonishing achievement considering it is in the top ten tallest buildings of all time.

Owned by KLCC, there are a range of features within the building and around the base of the towers. Including the KLCC Park which has fountains, running tracks, and viewpoints of the impressive structures.

A complex network of our vertical transportation systems allows occupants and visitors to move consistently between the different floors with ease and speed. The inclusion of heavy duty and executive elevators caters for a range of business and structural needs, while maintaining freedom to move between the two towers through the Skybridge. Alongside a commitment to sustainable technology and ecologically-conscious developments, we offer the best engineering and design for this world-famous structure.
